Hey guys! Man, I am on a roll now! I've been keeping up with the blog for a whole week and a half now. I'm determined to make sure I update as frequently as I can.

I want you all to meet the Abseck Family. Wow! What a family! They are an incredibly close, loving family. The love they show for each other is obvious. I have NEVER seen an older brother more loving toward his younger sister. And the love between mom and dad is inspirational. Something we should all strive for! You guys are awesome and I can't wait to work with you again! ;)

Meet Skyler. By far, one of my favorite newborn session to date! One, because his momma and daddy are dear, dear friends of ours; and two, he was the EASIEST baby! I could not believe how well he did letting me move him around constantly throughout the session. Skyler is the latest of four boys in their family! They are such a sweet, loving family and I couldn't be more happy about their newest addition! Thanks so much for allowing me the privilege of taking these photos of your gorgeous little man!

2012 Senior Model - Megan Paladino | Senior Portrait Photography, Cedar Park TX

So I made it! Day 2 of posting updates to the blog! Didn't think I could do it, did ya? Honestly, I wasn't sure I was going to make it either. Between running the little man to the nearest urgent care facility for his run-in with a fire ant pile in the backyard last night and then finding out my dryer isn't working (AFTER I washed a load of clothes!), I thought my day was going to be a total wash! But I'm moving forward and I WILL enjoy my weekend! Things WILL get better! :)

I can't wait for you guys to see my next Senior Model of 2012! Meet Megan Paladino, Senior at Vista Ridge High School. First off, let me start by saying WOW! She's absolutely stunning. -- one of the easiest people to photograph! She is a natural! I had a really great time with this shoot. We drove out to the middle of nowhere, set up and had about 30 minutes of good light before we lost it all! I was so nervous we were going to be stuck out there in the darkness while I tried to break everything down afterwards! But we made it and it was so worth it. Can't wait to work with Megan again!

So I've decided that today I'm going to play catch-up on my blog. Lucky you! I have several blog posts and will probably post one a day for the next few days. So today I'm going to start with my very first Senior Model for 2012 here in Cedar Park, TX. Ashley is a Senior at Vista Ridge High School. She was awesome to work with and even put up with me asking her to wake up super early on a Saturday morning and trek out to Downtown Austin. What senior do YOU know that would do that? She was great! Such a lovely, gorgeous young woman. We plan on doing a few more shoots around the area in the near future. So keep a lookout for more from Ashley!

Solis Kids | Wimberley Child Photographer

It's been busy here this past week, to say the least -- and HOT! The kids I did this shoot with were amazing! They got out there in the 100+ degree temperature and never complained once! Thanks so much to their mom, who I happen to know from high school, for braving the heat with us as well. What a beautiful family you have! I'm so glad to have gotten the opportunity to do this shoot. It seems pretty difficult these days to find any green whatsoever, but we pulled it off!

Stokes Family | New Braunfels Family Photographer

So here I am...... so far behind on my blog -- AGAIN! I am determined to get better at this! :) My post today includes a fun little shoot we did in New Braunfels. Who would have thought after all these years, I'd be doing a family session for one of my oldest friends. We haven't kept in touch over the years; but thanks to Facebook, we reconnected and I got lucky enough to do their pictures! After days and days (and days) of blazing heat and sunshine that wouldn't quit, wouldn't you know we picked the one day that it was overcast! Sure would have liked a little more sun, but we made it work.
